No other portion of the bible emphasizes the importance of praise like the Psalms. The very word ‘praise’ occurs nearly 200 times in this book. In fact, as you read the Psalms you get the sense that nothing is more important than praising God. Yet, how big of a role does praise play in our own lives? And do we really understand what 'praise' is and how to do it? Be sure to join us this Sunday at 10:30am as we look at the theme that occupies center stage in the Psalms.
Tonight, we’re hosting our monthly prayer gathering at 7pm. Let’s do what we can to prioritize this one hour each month to gather as a body of believers and simply talk with God.
Also, this Saturday morning we’ll have a workday at the church campus from 9am to noon. Let's join together for a morning of playing in the dirt (yard work) and fellowship as we begin taking preliminary steps to beautify our campus. Together, we'll clear out some old plants along the front and side of the sanctuary, as well as the side chapel courtyard area. Bring your gloves, yard tools (rakes, shovels, etc.) and some clothes that can get dirty. Coffee, water, and snacks will be provided.
Thank to those that are willing and able to help!
